Obituary
Rajia Mahbub, a renowned writer and Bangla Academy award winner, passed way early yesterday. She was 84. She left behind her one son, one daughter and a number of grandchildren, says a press release. Rajia was wife of late MR Khan, former examination controller of Dhaka University. Her qulkhwani will be held at her Gulshan residence in the capital after Maghrib prayers on Saturday.
