Ex-DG of land records sued
Anti-Corruption Commission yesterday sued former DG of the Directorate of Land Records and Survey (DLRS) Shamsul Alam and three others on charge of misappropriating around Tk 7 crore.
Other accused are Ziauddin Ahmed, DLRS's former charge officer, Bilas Chandra, former office assistant, and Mahmudur Rahman, managing director of DPC-PDAS.
According to the case statement, the three officers helped Mahmudur to draw the amount before he completed his task of printing and supplying some documents.
