Fire guts nine houses in Ctg
Fire gutted nine tin-shed houses in Patiya upazila of Chittagong early yesterday.
No casualty was reported in the incident.
The fire was originated from an electric short circuit at a house in Koygram village and soon spread to the adjacent houses, said sources at Agrabad Fire Service and Civil Defence Station.
Fire fighters from Lama Bazar Fire Station extinguished the fire after two hours' effort.
The damages caused by the fire were estimated at Tk 10 lakh.
