3 Shibir men held at RU
Three activists of Rajshahi University (RU) unit of Islami Chhatra Shibir, a Jamaat backed student organisation, were arrested from the campus yesterday.
The arrestees are Mizanur Rahman Mizan, Deloar Hossain and Sadrul Islam.
Police said they arrested the three when around 30 to 40 Shibir leaders and activists were trying to gather at Narikel Baria, an outer campus of the university, to create anarchy there.
Necessary steps would be taken after primary interrogation, they said.
