2 BNP leaders arrested in Khagrachhari
Matiranga police yesterday arrested two BNP leaders from Matiranga municipality area on charges of extortion, corruption and other crimes.
They are Matiranga upazila BNP leader and Matiraga Municiplity Commissioner Abul Kalam Azad and former municipality administrator and Matiranga upazila BNP convener Abu Yusuf Chowdhury.
They were in police custody when the report was filed.
