Ex-AL MP charge-sheeted for hiding wealth info
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has submitted a charge sheet against former lawmaker and Jessore district Awami League president Ali Reza Razu on charge of amassing vast wealth illegally and hiding information statement.
The investigation officer, ACC Assistant Director Sayed Rasel Ahmed submitted the charge sheet to Jessore District and Sessions Judge's Court on Tuesday.
Hearing date for framing charge in the case has been fixed tomorrow.
In his wealth statement submitted to the ACC in July last year, Ali Reza concealed wealth worth Tk 38 lakh 28 thousand two hundred, ACC sources said.
