Gang of 7 held in Satkhira
Seven members of a gang of inter-district motorcycle thieves including a college student were arrested Monday night from different areas of Satkhira and Khulna districts.
Police also recovered two stolen motor cycles from their possessions. Police produced them before Chief Judicial Magistrate's court yesterday, granted three days' remand.
The seven are Joynal Ali of Farajipara in Khulna, Abul Kashem and Shahrul Islam of Puratan Satkhira, Masum Billah Madhu of Rajarbagan and Shahnewaj Erana of Palashpole in Satkhira town, Saiful Islam, of Chingrikhali in Shyamnagar upazila and Satkhira Government College student Suman Islam of Hijaldi village in Kalaroa upazila in Satkhira.
