4 get 14yrs for abduction
Brahmanbaria Women and Children Repression Prevention Court yesterday sentenced four people to 14-year rigorous imprisonment (RI) for abducting a girl.
The convicts -- Shahjahan Mia, Malu Mia, Ziaur Rahman and Zamal Mia all from Suchiura village of Nasirnagar, abducted Fahima Begum, daughter of Abdur Rafi of the same village, on July 7 in 2003, goes the prosecution.
