BSF returns body of Bangladeshi

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) yesterday returned body of a Bangladeshi national gunned down by them at Moshwampur border Wednesday night. BSF returned body of Samaul Islam, son of Kitab Ali of Pardakhalpur village, to Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) after a flag meeting held at Gopalpur camp yesterday afternoon. At the flag meeting, Bangladesh side was represented by Jadabpur company commander Subedar Sirajul Islam while Indian side was represented by Ronoghat company commander Debprashad Biswas and Bagda police station officer-in-charge (OC) Ashit Kumar. BDR sources at Gopalpur camp said Samaul was gunned down by BSF while he was trying to cross the barbed wire fence near Moshwampur Border Piller No-49. Later, BSF took the body to India.
