Netrakona AL president suspended
Netrakona district Awami League president Shamsujjuha has been suspended for breaking party discipline, party sources said here yesterday.
The suspension letter signed by acting AL secretary Sayed Ashraful Islam reached Netrakona AL secretary Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru yesterday evening.
When contacted, Khasru said the expulsion decision was taken at a party Presidium meeting held in Dhaka on May 24.
Talking to this correspondent, Shamsujjuha admitted expulsion but refuted the charge. He hoped the letter would be withdrawan.
