4 get life for murder
Additional district and sessions judge of Nilphamari Sharif Md Lutfar Rahman has sentenced four persons to life term rigorous imprisonment (RI) in Dulal member murder case.
The convicts are Ainul Haque,30, Taslimuddin,45, Abdur Rashid,55, and Chhoto Dulal,38, all hailed from Kachukata village. Of the convicts, Taslimuddin is absconding.
The judge also fined each of them Tk 10,000, in default, to suffer six months more RI.
The prosecution story, in brief, is that criminals killed Dulal, a member of Kachukata Union Parisad (UP) in Sadar upazila at a shoal of the Charalkata river at dead might on August 7, 2002. Dulal was also known as a notorious criminal.
