Managing director of a travel agent who was arrested on June 3 for cheating 23 Hajj pilgrims was placed on two-day remand yesterday, court sources said. The accused is Romjan Ali Dhali, managing director of Messrs Jebrik Travels, Dhaka. Romjan was brought here from Dhaka and produced before Satkhira chief judicial magistrate's court yesterday. Kazi Mahi Uddin, a victim filed the cheating case with Satkhira Sadar police station against Romjan and his wife on January 25.
