Tributes to 2 slain Khulna journalists
Tributes were paid in memory of two slain journalists Humayun Kabir Balu and Rafiquzzaman here yesterday.
Khulna Press Club, Rafiquzza-man Smrity Parishad and family members of Humayun Kabir Balu chalked out programmes to mark their fourth death anniversary.
Press club members placed wreaths at their memorial plaque in the morning. This was followed by a discussion and milad mahfil at the VIP lounge.
Press club president Wadudur Rahman Panna presided the discussion while it was attended by former president of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury as chief guest.
