Struggling Nikhil gets GPA-5

Nikhil lost his father when he was two and a half-year-old and his younger brother was only six-month-old. “I forget all my sorrows after hearing my son's glorious result,” said his mother Josna Rani Pal, struggling to maintain two children's family with work of a domestic help. Her younger son Rasel Pal is works at a rickshaw garage. “Sometimes I managed to provide Nikhil panta rice as breakfast. Sometimes Nikhil would go to school without taking any food. I could not think of giving him good clothes. But he never complained,” she said. He was given free studentship and his teachers always helped him with books, notes, papers and pen, school sources said. Newspaper agent Ratan Kumar Dey helped him during crisis period. Nikhil expressed gratitude to his teachers for his brilliant result. “Nikhil is our pride. But what will happen to his future study without financial support? Nikhil wants to be a doctor.” Headmistress Srila Talukder said.
