Four get life for murder in Pabna
A Pabna court yesterday sentenced four people to life-term imprisonment in a murder case.
The convicts -- Md Ukil, Mamun, Sumon and Hakim of village Chak Satiani under the municipality area of the district town were also fined Tk 5,000 each, court sources said.
On December 19 in 2001, the criminals called Liton of the same village from his residence and hacked him to death near a cinema hall on the day, goes the prosecution.
Victim's mother Nurjahan Begum filed a case with Pabna Police Station accusing the four people the same day.
