Ex-AL MP Dilu asked to submit wealth statement
Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) here sent a notice to immediate past lawmaker and president of District Awami League (AL) Md Shamsur Rahman Sharif Dilu asking him to submit his wealth statement within seven days of receipt of the notice.
Earlier, ACC conducted a primary investigation into his wealth, said ACC deputy director Md Abdul Gaffer. ACC is also probing wealth of six others.
They are district BNP president and former lawmaker Sirajul Islam Sardar, Pabna municipality chairman and BNP leader Kamrul Hassan Mintu, Ishwardi municipality chairman and BNP leader Mokhlesur Rahman Bablu, Pabna Sonali Bank CBA leader Abul Ehsan Bappi, district BNP leaders Abdul Mannan Tipu and Zakaria Pintu.
