7 outlaws get life for murder
A Rajshahi court yesterday sentenced seven outlaws to life term imprisonment in a triple murder case in Pabna. The convicts are Hannan, Golger Hossain, Shafi Uddin, Joynal Abedin, Anis, Delwar Hossain and Abdul Malek.
Judge ATM Mesbaudoulah of Rajshahi Speedy Trail Tribunal acquitted eight others in the case.
The outlaw shot and slaughtered the three persons at in Dhanua Para village in Faridpur thana in Pabna district on December 25, 2003.
Only arrested Hannan was on the dock during delivery of the verdict while the rest six were tried in absentia, court sources said.
