Birshrestha Capt Mohiuddin's mother dies

Birshrestha Captain Mohiuddin Jahanjir's mother Safia Khatun, died at Barisal She-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital Friday night. She was 81. Hospital sources and officials said she was rushed to the hospital following a heart attack. She left her son and a host of relatives to mourn her death. Barisal Divisional Commi-ssioner Md. Harun Chowdhury and Deputy Commissioner Manzur-e-Elahi expressed deep shock at the death of Safia Khatu. The body was buried at the family graveyard yesterday after Namaz-e-Janaza at Rahimjong villege in Jahanjirnagon union under Babujong upazila. Her Qulkhwani will be held on Friday after Asr prayers at her residence, family sources said.
