Token hunger strike for Nasim's release
Sirajganj District Awami League (AL) observed a token hunger strike at its office here yesterday demanding unconditional release and better treatment of party central leader and former home minister Mohammad Nasim.
About 150 leaders and activists of the party and its front organisations took part in the strike.
A meeting was held during the hunger strike programme. Acting president of district AL Md Mostafizur Rahman presided.
