Outlaw arrested in Jhenidah
An outlaw was arrested at Borobari village in Shailkupa upazila on Saturday.
Shuklal was arrested while holding a meeting at the village with cadres of the outlawed Gono Mukti Fouj. But his accomplices fled the scene. Earlier, people caught him red-handed while he was going to kill a Union Parisad chairman at Sreepur in Magura. The mob beat him up by breaking his one leg and pulling out his one eye. Despite this, he did not give up his illegal activities as an outlaw. Police handed over him to the respective police station from where he was released on July 8.
Earlier, police arrested another cadre of the outlawed Biplobi Communist Party named Ishaque. On his confessional statement, police recovered a shutter gun, two bullets and a bomb from his village home at Bazar Gopalpur in Jhenidah Sadar. He is an accused in killing a police source named Fazlu Khora, police said.
