Drug traders hurt policeman, Ansar in Natore
Drug traders injured a police constable and an Ansar member when police arrested a drug peddler at Chowdhury Barogacha in Natore town on Saturday night.
As police arrested drug peddler Bulbul, 28, of village Chalk-badynath in Natore town, with 16 bottles of phensidyl from Chowdhury Barogachha, narcotics traders attacked the law enforcers and tried to snatch away Bulbul, police said.
Police constable Abu Jafar and Ansar member Jahurul Islam were seriously injured during the incident.
They have been admitted to Natore Hospital.
