BCC to exempt freedom fighters from taxes
Barisal City Corporation (BCC) authorities have decided to exempt freedom fighters from paying holding and water supply taxes.
Following a prayer from the district command of Muktijoddha Sangsad, the BCC authorities announced the decision on Thursday.
The decision would be executed from current fiscal year, BCC acting mayor Awlad Hossain Dilu said.
District Muktijoddha Sangsad in a statement yesterday thanked BCC authorities for the approval of the decision.
