2,940 litres of adulterated coconut oil seized

Police recovered 2,940 litres of adulterated coconut oil from a clandestine factory at Elaipur village in Rupsha upazila on Thursday. An employee of the factory named Pintu Sheikh was arrested but its owner Farid Sheikh escaped, police said. Police also recovered 40 empty vessels, an oven, an air cooler, a scale, ingredients for making adulterated coconut oil and labels of various brands.
