28 JMB men produced before court in Mymensingh

Twenty-eight members of the outlawed Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) were produced before the Fourth Additional District and Sessions Judge's Court here yesterday, court sources said. They included Salahuddin Salehin, 35, and Asaduzzaman Ponir, 22, who were awarded capital punishment and Fahima Akhtar, 30, wife of executed JMB kingpin Siddiqul Islam alias Bangla Bhai. All are accused in 11 different cases including the bomb blast case of Netrokona and Jibontala madrassa case filed with Bhaluka Police Station and another case filed with Muktagacha Police Station. They were produced before court to take deposition in eight cases, court sources said. They will be produced before court again on October 14, they said.
