BNP leader's body found in Pabna
Body of a BNP leader was recovered from Chatrar Beeil in Ataikula in the district yesterday.
The dead was identified as Nur Shamim alias Piar, 40, joint secretary of Fridpur upqzila unit of BNP.
Police said Piar was abducted by miscreants on September 23. The recovered body bore marks of injury. Previous enmity could be behind the murder, said the officer-in-charge of Ataikula police station.
Earlier, Piar's brother filed a abduction case with Faridpur police station on September 25.
