Truck with Indian fertiliser seized, 2 held
Gobindaganj highway police seized a truck loaded with 250 bags of Indian murate of potash fertiliser at Kuthibari on Gobindaganj-Hili Highway yesterday afternoon.
Police suspect that the truckload of fertiliser was smuggled from India through Hili border and scheduled to be unloaded in Gobindaganj market.
Police arrested truck driver Bablu Mia and helper Khokan Mia.
