Outlaw arrested in Jhenidah
Police arrested an outlaw from Priya cinema hall here on Monday.
The arrestee is a Janajuddha cadre named Alim Uddin, 20, of Bepari Para in the town.
Police was on the hunt for Alim after a bomb explosion that occurred at Jhenidah KC College recently, said Jhenidah superintendent of police (SP) Jahangir Hossain Matabbar. On a tip off, police raided the cinema hall from where he was arrested. He confessed to his involvement in the bomb blast. As per his confession, police recovered a very powerful live bomb weighing 1 kilogram from his Bepari Para house. The bomb might have killed a large number of people on explosion, the SP said.
