Policeman, college teacher held with hemp
Police in a raid at the house of drug peddler Hawa Begum at Monirampur Bazaar in Shahzadpur upazila Friday, arrested 10 people including a constable of CID police and a college teacher along with 26 packets of hemp.
The arrestees are Saiful Islam, constable of CID police in Bogra, Moinul Hossain, lecturer of Sathia Sanda College, drug peddler Hawa Begum, Aynul Hossain, Sentu Mian, Barat Ali, Momin Sheikh, Uzzal Hossain, Amzad Hossain and Khaza Ali.
When contacted, Shahzadpur Police Station officer-in-charge Tozammel Haque confirmed the incident.
