'Danutthum Kathin Chibar Dan', one of the biggest religious festivals of Buddhist community in Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), will begin here tomorrow. A month-long programme has been chalked out to mark the occasion. The programmes included Stitching of Chibor and Chibor Dan, Maitree Sutra Path (rendering of religious songs), Austrabingshati Buddha Puja, Panchhashil (offering of Pancha-shilla prayers) and Austrashil Grahan, Autrapariskarak Dan, Pradip Puja (lighting of candles) and Pindhu Dan (offering of meals to monks). District administration has taken all security measures to mark the occasions.
