Four-party will go to power, says Mojahid

Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojahid yesterday expressed hope that four-party alliance, will go in power in the next polls by the grace of Allah. Terming four-party alliance as the 'party of Allah', he said the alliance is now held in high esteem among the people. Emergency power rules will have to be lifted before the election, the Jamaat leader said during his speech as chief guest at a meeting at Harinakunda Zila Parishad auditorium yesterday. “The country is passing through a difficult situation during this present government's rule. The government has failed to rein in the price of essential commodities. People will have to starve if the present government remains in power for long,” he said. Accusing Awami League of killing Jamaat activists with logi and baitha¸ Mojahid urged all to shun the 'politics of logi and baitha' forever. Special guest Jamaat leader Abdul Kader Molla, Jhenidah district Jamaat Ameer Mozammel Haq, spoke among others, at the meeting chaired by Harinakunda upazila Jamaat Ameer Alauddin.
