Workshop on violence against women held
Speakers at a workshop titled, 'Effectiveness of Existing Law to Prevent Violence against Women' held at Rangpur-Dinajpur Rural Service (RDRS) office here yesterday stressed on creating mass awareness about violence against women.
Women's Right Unit of RDRS organised the workshop chaired by its programme manager Zeba Afroza. Md Akhter Hossain, ASP of Dinajpur attended as chief guest while Dinajpur Mayor Md Shafiqul Haque was special guest.
