RU JCD leader wants ticket for JS polls
The joint convener of Rajshahi University (RU) unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), Mousumi Nasrin, at a press conference held on the campus yesterday sought BNP nomination from Jhenidah-4 (Kaliganj) constituency in the upcoming parliamentary election. Nasrin, also publication affairs secretary of Jhenidah Mohila Dal said many BNP leaders in Jhenidah are involved in corruption and anti-organisational activities. But local people want educated, honest and qualified candidate to contest from Jhenidah-4 constituency, she said. 'I want my candidature in the national election to fulfill their hopes and aspiration, Nasrin said.
