Tele Talk tale
I wish to draw the attention of the high-ups in Tele-Talk BD Ltd. & BTRC (Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission) Dhaka to the messy situation prevailing within Tele Talk BD Ltd., graveyard road, Banani, Dhaka.
I filled up the BTRC Form-2006 (form serial no. 000000018351) and paid Tk 2600/= on July 31st, 2006 at Prime Bank, Elephant Road Branch, Dhaka for pre-paid package. The SIM was issued on the same day. Tele Talk Ltd issued validity for ten (10) years. So my connection was valid up to the year 2017. Surprisingly, the validity was slashed by nine (9) years to 2008, without public notice. I recharged my Tele Talk mobile connection (no. 01556343790) on 13th July 2008 with timeline ending after 21st October 2008. So I am holding a connection that need not be recharged before 21st October 2008. Surprisingly again, I discovered on 11th October 2008 that Tele Talk Ltd. had terminated my legal connection without rhyme or reason. On 14th October 2008, I went to the Tele Talk Ltd, Banani, Dhaka. There between 10.30am and 11.00am (14-10-2008) a Tele Talk counter saleswoman told me that I haven't re-registered. When I produced all necessary documents supporting the legality of my valid connection with valid timeline, I was given another form for registration. After having filled up the form, I was about to put the date (14-10-2008) on the form but just then, a counter saleswoman restrained me form mentioning the date (14-10-2008) on the filled-up registration form. So I had to submit a dateless registration form. The saleswomen asked me to surrender all my valid papers but I refused. The mobile connection was activated after two (2) hours on 14th October 2008.
I request Tele Talk high-ups and BTRC to look into the matter.
I have given precise information so as to facilitate inquiry, should they be sincere in doing so. Well, we shouldn't forget that Tele Talk Ltd is the cousin of BTTB.
