Conference on poverty reduction
Recently one of my American friends, Marilyn Kennedy has invited me to attend the forth-coming conferences organised jointly by the Global Development Organisation (G.D.O.), USA and the International Labour Organisation (ILO), which is scheduled to be held in UK and Togo (West Africa) in January and February 2009. The theme of the UK conference is “War Against Child Abuse and Poverty Eradication” while the Togo conference will focus on “The Prevention Strategy on Racism”.
The Global Development Organisation is an international organization dedicated to the eradication of poverty, racism, child abuse and child labour.
It has so far recruited more than 2000 workers to work in these fields both in developed and developing countries. The GDO has made significant achievements in their endeavours.
As I was going through the conference papers, I thought, participants from our country including youths particularly from those NGOs and philanthropic organisations engaged in poverty alleviation and child abuse control may participate in the above mentioned conferences to share experiences with other participants coming from different countries.
An organisation can send a group of five participants.
