Canadian immigration rules

Md. Sahed Ali, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Due to changes in the Immigration and Refugees Protection Act (IRPA), Federal skilled workers' applications received on or after February 27, 2008 will now be assessed for eligibility according to a set of instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, Canada. However, this new selection criterion does not apply to candidates who wish to settle in the Province of Quebec as it has its own selection criteria. Federal skilled workers' applications, received before the above cut off date, still will be processed according to the rules that were in effect during the time of their applying.
