Dreams shattered
Langston Hughes warned the world earlier: if dream is deferred how serious the fact might be (in his Dream Deferred)... But what happens if the dream is crashed or thrashed?
Come on.. Our dream is being vandalised brutally, isn't it? Who did it? The present government? Our so-called political leaders? Our fate? Or something else? Is it we? Most probably it is we? In fact, I can assure you it is we, the mass people...
Our dream started with the 1/11 & it has ended with the declaration of the upcoming election.
What did we achieve in these two years?
Before 1/11 we all forgot what is dream, what our freedom fighters dreamt. Maybe, after 1/11 we started dreaming of a dream-Bangladesh where there would be no violence, no hartal, no ugly politics.. Actually, our dream just got started, but with the passage of time it has come to an end... The present govt started it all in an awesome fashion, but right now? Where are we? Again we are going back towards that past forgettable days... No change has been done or made... Every honourable culprit went into the VIP room showing V sign and now they are coming out showing the same V sign. Where is the change? In their face? In their attitude? In their personality?
Come on. There is no change.
But the only thing we need is "CHANGE, positive CHANGE".
