But Pakistan ruled former East Pakistan/East Bengal now Bangladesh like a colony.
The people of former East Pakistan/East Bengal, now Bangladesh, protested and demanded their rights, and subsequently jumped into the war of liberation and won their independence after 24 years of Pakistani colonial rule in 1971.
But the fate of Kashmir, which both Pakistan and India claim, is still uncertain. When will the Kashmir issue be resolved finally?
