Sadullapur UZ voters favour independent candidate

People of Sadullapur upazila are now united to cast vote in favour of independent candidate Awami League (AL) leader Yunus Ali Sarker instead of grand alliance candidate Jatiya Party (JP) leader TIM Fazley Rabbi Chowdhury in Gaibandha-3 (Palashbari-Sadullapur) constituency. JP rebels in Palashbari upazila also lent their support to Yunus. Meanwhile, voters at Molongbazaar in Sadullapur upazila boycotted an election campaign of Rabbi on Thursday because what they said his failure to do any development work in their locality during his five-term tenure. Earlier, AL leaders and activists in Sadullapur held rallies and token hunger strikes demanding nomination for Yunus by grand alliance. On failure, they decided to back Yunus who runs as an independent candidate in Gaibandha-3 constituency.
