Election & hartal
We are once again going to have a national election and once again we are terrified at the prospect of incoming hartals which both the major parties are expert in using to punish the nation.
It is very sad that no party in their election manifesto mentioned their position on the issue of hartal and the possibility is there that the defeated party would call a hartal on the very next day after the election results are announced.
May I draw the attention of our two respected leaders of the Awami League and the BNP to make their positions clear on this issue.
