Janajuddha cadre held in Jhenidah

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a Janajuddha cadre of the outlawed Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP-Janajuddha) at a village in Shailkupa upazila early yesterday. Badiuzzaman Badi alias Palash, 35, of Gangni in Meherpur district was arrested at Dudshar village. Rab also recovered a pistol and two bullets from his possession. Later, the arrestee confessed to his involvement with the outlawed party for a long time. Palash is an accused in at least five cases including four for murder, Rab further said.
