Five journalists working in print and electronic media received awards as Mymensingh Press Club arranged a function for 'The Best Reporters of the Year-2008' at Mymensingh Press Club auditorium yesterday. Md Babul Hossain, staff reporter of the Janakantha and also a correspondent of the ETV, got the first prize while The Daily Star correspondent Md Aminul Islam and Ittefaq correspondent Sheikh Mohiuddin Ahmad jointly obtained the second prize. Daily Sangbad staff reporter Zillur Rahman Khan and Jugantor bureau chief Ataul Karim Khokon were awarded the third prize.
