Body of Bangladeshi handed over to BDR
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) returned body of a Bangladeshi cattle trader to Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) after a company commander-level flag meeting yesterday evening, BDR said.
The deceased is Arshadul,30, son of late Mir Mohammad of Gondagram village under Ranishankoil upazila.
Earlier, BSF found the body inside India near Jagdal border along Ranishangkoil upazila Saturday morning. Instantly, they informed the matter to BDR along with a photograph of the dead. Several injury marks were found on the body including its head.
Family members alleged that BSF men tortured him to death while he was on way back home from India with cattle at dead of night.
