Shrimp trader murdered

Unidentified criminals Tuesday night killed a shrimp cultivator at village Sreeula in Assassuni upazila. Police said Babar Ali Moral, 70, went to a local mosque for offering evening prayers on Tuesday and since then he went missing. Local people found the body of the victim in a bush at village Sreeula early morning yesterday. Earlier, a gang of miscreants occupied Moral's shrimp enclosure at Sreeula following a dispute between the victim and another person of the same village on February 16, sources said. The murder is a sequel to the dispute, police suspect.
