8 JMB men remanded

Eight suspected members of banned Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), arrested in Muktagacha on Thursday, have been placed on a four-day. Mohammad Rawshan, sub-inspector of Muktagacha Police Station, produced the JMB men in the Court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Farhana Ferdous, on Thursday, seeking a seven-day remand. But the magistrate granted four days' remand for them. Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested JMB men Md Anadul Haque, 34, Md Abdul Barek, 38, Md Abdul Mannan, 22, Mohammad Murtaza, 22, Md. Saiful Islam, 32, Quari Md Saidur Rahman, 24, Mohammad, 40, and Md. Nazrul Islam, 35, at Rampur, Bairaghibag, Goyeshpur and Dullah Chandpur villages under Muktagacha upazila early Thursday.
