Fake cosmetics factories unearthed, 4 arrested

Detective Branch (DB) of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Saturday night unearthed two fake cosmetics factories and arrested four people including a woman from Rajshahi city. During a raid in Hatem Kha Lichu Bagan area, the DB police seized large quantity of cosmetics, medicine, raw materials of cosmetics, machineries and labels of brand companies. Police also arrested Masud, his wife Lipi and brother-in-law Bakul. Acting on the arrestees' tip-off, DB police raided Talaimari area in the city the same night and found another fake cosmetic factory. They arrested Toufique Aziz from there and seized fake cosmetics of different brand names. Later, police produced the arrestees before court from where they were sent to jail yesterday.
