BSF kidnaps 1 in Comilla

Indian Border Security (BSF) abducted a personnel of Bangladesh Armed Police from the frontier village of Nayanpur in Brahmanpara upazila Saturday night. A BSF patrol party intruded into Bangladesh territory and abducted Nayek Jahagir Alam of Bangladesh Armed Police from a crop field at about 9.00 pm, locals said. Later, the Indian border guards took Jahagir, son of Zahirul Islam of Paniaru village under Kosba upazila in Brahmanbaria district to the Indian territory, witnesses said. When contacted, Brahmanpara Police Station duty officer confirmed the incident.
