CU restricts politics on campus

Chittagong University (CU) authorities have imposed restrictions on political activities including rallies and processions on the campus for next one month. Proctor Prof Jasim Uddin said the university authorities issued a notice yesterday banning political activities for 30 days from March 14 to maintain congenial academic atmosphere on the campus. Religious gatherings and programmes to celebrate the Independence Day will remain out of the restriction purview, the notice said.
