Power-hungry people of Durgapur village under Bholahat upazila of Chapainawabganj district beat up two Palli Bidyut staff on Tuesday night. Sources said the agitated farmers attacked a sub-centre of Palli Bidyut Samity at around 10:00 pm and beat up Hasan and Bari alleging they are not supplying power to their pump to keep it operative.
