Transport worker murdered

Unidentified criminals killed a transport worker at Nabogram-Nawkhanda village under Manikganj Sadar upazila on Thursday night. The dead, Abdus Sattar, 30, was a supervisor of Padma bus service at Manikganj bus stand. Family sources said Sattar went out of his house at Nabogram-Nawkhanda village with his colleague Amjad at around 4:30pm and did not return at night. Locals found his body on a maize field at the village yesterday morning and informed the police who later recovered the body and sent it to Manikganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy. The body bore injury marks.
