Swechchasebok League leader murdered

A Swechchasebok League leader was stabbed to death and three others were injured by unidentified criminals at Malgram Chaporpara in the town yesterday evening. The dead was identified as Don, 21, publicity secretary of Swechchasebok League ward no-9 unit. Identity of the injured could not be known. Family members of the deceased said some criminals swooped on Don and his three friends while they were chatting on a bridge in the area at around 7:00pm. The gang stabbed the four, killing Don on the spot and injuring three others. Zakir Hossain Nawab, Secretary of Swechchasebok League district unit, blamed BNP for the killing. BNP denied the charge.
